Shirley Lowrance is the Finance Director and City Clerk for the City of Auburndale. She is responsible for overseeing the financial management of the City, coordinating the municipal election process, recording the minutes from the City Commission meeting, and maintaining public records. She has worked for the City since 1974. During her 40 years of employment, she has held various positions with the City including assistant city clerk, budget analyst, and utility billing clerk. Lowrance received a bachelor of science in Accounting from Webber International University in 2003. Her professional memberships include the Florida Government Finance Officers Association, the Florida Association of City Clerks and International Institute of Municipal Clerks. She lives in Auburndale with her husband Billy. Together they have four adult children and 15 grandchildren. They enjoy camping and visiting family.
