As 2022 Closes, Auburndale Celebrates Its Workforce

On Friday, December 9, City of Auburndale held its annual employee luncheon. Elected officials and department directors were in attendance to thank employees from across all city departments for their hard work throughout 2022.

As a part of the luncheon’s program, several achievements were highlighted and applauded. In the FY 2021-2022 period, 16 employees participated in the City’s Tuition Assistance Program and 6 of those employees obtained degrees through their educational pursuits.

Longevity awards were also recognized for the past year. In 2022, eleven (11) employees completed 5 years of service with the City of Auburndale, four (4) completed 10 years of service, and six (6) completed 15 years of service. Combined, this represents 185 years of service to Auburndale.
