5 Live Bands

Sister Hazel is a Gainesville, FL band comprised of five gifted, seasoned musicians whose well-spring of natural talent has been called “one of the Top 100 Most Influential Independent Performers of the last 15 years” by Performing Songwriter Magazine. Their song, “All for You” topped the adult alternative charts during the summer of 1997 and the success propelled their album to platinum status.

Soul2Earth is a 7-piece band featuring gospel-infused Soul, Funk, and Rock. Featuring guitar with ferocious chops, fat bass tones, monster drum rolls, smooth rhythm and 2 backing vocalists, Soul2Earth will get you movin’ and groovin’!

The Free Whiskey Band hails from Winter Haven. These five musicians center their sound around blues, rock, jam, and Americana. From dancing, jammy grooves to soulful ballads, The Free Whiskey Band has something to offer for a wide audience of live music lovers. Come get a taste for yourself!

B.Haven is a 4-piece party band from Winter Haven, Florida. Covering classic and current hit songs, they deliver a great performance that is sure to get people moving! B.Haven was voted as 2nd Best Band/Musician by Haven Magazine in 2022.

Kind Villain is coming at ya from the Tampa-area. Led by frontman Ev V Frederick, this pop rock band is known for having high energy performances that pump up the crowd. They received an award for Best Song Release (Local Band) by Creative Loafing Magazine in 2021 and were runner-up for Best Original Band.

Fun and Games

CityFest will feature a fun zone for families to enjoy. This area will have a bounce house and other entertaining attractions.

USA-WSWS Water Sports Festival

USA Water Ski & Wake Sports will be hosting a festival event, in partnership with Auburndale CityFest. Team Trials take place on Friday and Saturday opens up at 8 AM with the Team USA v. Mexico Challenge. This will include up to 40 riders (20 from each country) competing in a head-to-head style event.

A Wake Sports Exhibition will follow, showcasing various wake sports, including barefooting, freestyle jumping, hydrofoiling, kneeboarding and swivel skiing.

The Pan American Games Team Trials will conclude the water sports event. Four qualified male and female Pro riders will compete for the right to represent the United States at the XIX Pan American Games, Oct. 20-25, in Santiago, Chile.

Touch-A-Truck (11 am – 2 pm)

Touch-a-Truck is a popular hometown event in Auburndale! Each year, we feature a showcase of big trucks, utility equipment, and unique vehicles. This year that showcase is joining up with CityFest! From 11 AM to 2 PM, explore and experience the showcase at the Lake Myrtle Sports Park! Get to know the people that drive these vehicles and climb into the driver seat for a view of the controls and features of each vehicle. Touch-a-Truck is a great educational opportunity for kids and adults!

This year you can expect to discover: tractors, a garbage truck, an airboat, a fire truck, a police cruiser, a stock car, and more!

Food Court

From scrumptious snacks to enticing entrées, CityFest will feature several food vendors to satisfy appetites throughout the day.
