It’s time to open up the windows and prepare for a good, thorough spring cleaning! The City of Auburndale urges its citizens to beautify their lives and take advantage of Spring Clean-up Week.
During the second week of April (Monday, April 8 to Friday, April 12), the Sanitation Division will be providing extra trash pickup services free of charge. This program is offered to City Residents only. No hazardous waste, paint, or electronics will be accepted.
How it works: Place special items at curbside, divided into separate piles depending on the type of debris.
Yard Trash: Limbs, clippings, bagged trimmings, etc.
Furniture: Couches, chairs, bedding, etc.
Construction/Demo: Tile, concrete, carpet, non-wooden fencing, etc.
White Goods: Refrigerators, stoves, washers, dryers, etc.
Tires: With or without rims
Lumber: framing lumber, wood fencing, dock wood, siding, etc.
Vehicular waste such as batteries, anti-freeze, and oil can be disposed of at Public Works, 915 Charles Avenue during regular hours.
No hazardous waste, paint, or electronics will be accepted!
