(2) CONCESSION WORKERS

MAJOR FUNCTIONS: This is responsible extra help work involving the operation Concession Stands at City of Auburndale recreational facilities. Work is performed under the supervision of the Concession Manager and Recreation Superintendent

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Responsible for the preparation and delivery of food, operates grill, drink machines and point of sale cash register. Performs other non-essential duties as required.

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, AND EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of food service techniques and equipment. Knowledge of cash handling and receiving procedures. Must possess a valid Florida Drivers License. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with City employee’s and the general public is essential. Graduation from High School or G.E.D. Possession of a valid Florida driver’s license is required. The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.

JOB LOCATION: Auburndale Softball Complex & Lake Myrtle Park

WORK SCHEDULE: Hours vary. Must be able to work weekends, as needed.

HIRING RATE: $7.67 / hr

CLOSING DATE: Open until filled
