Welcome to the City of Auburndale's website!

At first glance, Auburndale appears to be a quiet city with "hometown quality." A lingering look reveals a firmly established, steadily growing community with a population of 14,262 residents. Teamwork abounds in every aspect - business and industry, education, sports, and recreation. The vital element in our success is the spirit of community, which is one of Auburndale's main attractions.

To contact the City Manager's Office please email the City Manager's Office or call (863) 965-5530. The physical address for City Hall is 1 Bobby Green Plaza.

Featured Business of the Month: Please-U Barber Shop

Please U Barbershop is being recognized as the November 2014 “Business of the Month.” Please U was established in 1960 by former City Mayor Charles Johnson. In its early days it was located next door to where it is currently located on Main Street. Since 2004 it has been owned by former Mayor Richard Hamann. Long known as the place for boys and men to get a haircut, it is also known as the place to get caught up on politics and talk about the issue of the day.

The City of Auburndale would like to recognize Please-U Barber Shop for contributing to the character of the City of Auburndale, for their investment in the community, and the support they provide for the citizenry of Auburndale.

Pictured is owner Richard Hamann receiving a plaque of recognition from Mayor Keith Cowie.
